Joint Trade Union Movement

The Joint Trade Union Movement is now increasing its pressure on the Prime Minister in order to have their issues dealt with his morning members gathered outside of the Prime Minister’s office in St. Clair this morning, even as Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley was attending the opening ceremony of the New Law Term in Port of Spain.

Ahead of the September 30th budget presentation, JTUM and OWTU representative, Ancel Roget signalled the group’s intention to get everything that is deserved by its membership, by all legal means necessary.

Mr. Roget once again accused the Finance Minister, Colm Imbert of delivering erroneous information to the Prime Minister in relation to the outstanding negotiations.

The Joint Trade Union Movement is now warning the Prime Minister against any action that could upset the finalization of negotiations
