The Justice Minister has responded to calls for construction of a judicial complex at Malabar to be stopped.
Malabar Phase four residents protested recently to show their disapproval of the project.
The residents claim they were not consulted on the issue.
The judicial complex will comprise seven courts- two high courts and five magistrates’ courts.
Commenting on the matter Justice Minister, Emmanuel George, in an interview said the Ministry did in fact host a public consultation.
He also confirmed that another public consultation will be held in the future.
Minister George said the government is also open to making adjustments to the initial plan.
He appealed to residents to come out in their numbers to give their input at the next public consultation.
