Just about one week after he took Jamaica by storm, delivering his Sunday Service in New Kingston, Kanye West sat down with Big Boi of Big Boi TV, explaining his rationale for his move to Christianity and much more.
The entertainer released a new album called, “Jesus is King” and is set to unleash a follow-up Hip Hop praise album in December. In his 48- minute long interview with the US host, West highlighted the chains of evil that had held grip to his life for many years, alluding to the secular nature of the Hip Hop culture and lifestyle.
He went on to admit that 2018 had been a hard year for him, insinuating that this was what it took for him to turn to Christ for what he needed. Since that, the artist who says he will not be performing any of his old singles, says his Yeezy brand has shot to economic highs, this despite the fact that he has unplugged himself from social media and has even been downplayed in the media as “cancelled”.
