KEN GORDON PAYS RESPECT TO THE LATE A.N.R ROBINSON

ken gordon1A former cabinet colleague of the late Arthur NR Robinson today paid tribute to the former Prime Minister and President during ecumenical service held at the the National Academy for the Performing Arts in Port of Spain today.

Businessman and Chairman of the Integrity Commission, Ken Gordon, told those gathered about the times he spent with the President and the friendship they shared.

Mr. Gordon served under Mr. Robinson in the 1986 National Alliance for Reconstruction Government where he was appointed a Senator and Minister of Tourism.

Speaking on behalf of Mr. Robinson’s family, Mr. Gordon recounted some fond memories of the late leader including the time he controversially implemented the Value Added Tax system which did not go down well with the business community.
