A known bank card forger and another man have been detained by officers attached to the Trinidad and Tobago Fraud Squad ABM Task Force. The arrests took occurred on Saturday night while the men were at West Mall.

Reports are that one of the alleged perpetrators hails from Glencoe and is also an alleged trafficker. Intelligence had been gathered by the Task Force and upon receiving information regarding the perpetrators’ illicit operations, the men were detained at around 11:45pm while approaching the RBC ABM at the mall.

Police are said to have found $10,000TTD and 32 fake ATM cards in the assailants’ possession. The forged cards were 29 Republic Bank cards, two First Citizens Bank cards and one Scotia Bank Card. The men are aged 34 and 35.
