Most of the workers from Arcelor Mittal Point Lisas who were laid off earlier this year are finding it tough to get employment.

The update comes from the Steel Workers Union President, Christopher Henry.

A slow down on the international steel market and declining profits were some of the reasons given by the multi-national firm for its decision to lay off the employees.

Mr. Henry in a News Power Now interview this afternoon said some of the workers have been able to get jobs in various fields.
