Leader of the Opposition Dr. Keith Rowley says there is corruption infiltrating a number of government contracts.
Dr. Rowley made the statement during a televised interview this morning.
Noting that the present anti-corruption law presents a frame work by which contracts are awarded, he said there was no reason why such laws should be easily breached.
Separately, the Opposition Leader scoffed at several government appointments made by Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar. He said these appointments were to the detriment of the Prime Minister’s government, adding that they should be reviewed.
