In light of unfortunate events over the past weekend in which four persons drowned in two separate incidents, members of the Lifeguard Association of Trinidad and Tobago are urging the public to adhere to the instructions of lifeguards when visiting the nation’s beaches.

Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show this morning lifeguards Alistair Livingston and Wayne Drysdale sought to inform persons of cautionary measures that should be taken while in close proximity of the water. Pointing out that they should ideally using beaches where li8feguard are on duty to minimize the occurrences of drowning.
