Litigation to continue against TTFF

b sanchoFormer National footballer, Brent Sancho has said the money received by Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar has not settled payments owed to players by the Trinidad and Tobago football federation.

Yesterday Mrs. Persad Bissessar offered former National footballers a settlement of US 1.3 million dollars arising out of profits TTFF derived from the Road to Germany 2006 campaign.

However Spokesperson for the players Brent Sancho stated that litigation against the TTFF will continue.

The TTFF released a statement yesterday thanking the Prime Minister for her intervention and settlement of the outstanding debt.

He reiterated that the Prime minister’s statement was clear.

He added that the fight is for more than just bonuses owed to the players but for transparency in the accounting practices of the TTFF.
