Losses by some parties in yesterday’s general elections have prompted the resignation of at least three political leaders. ILP political leader and candidate for Lopinot/Bonair West, Jack Warner says he will now retire from public life after yesterday’s vote.

Speaking with reporters at his party’s headquarters last evening, Mr. Warner said the people have spoken and wished the constituents of Lopinot Bon Air West all the best.

He added that he is unsure of the party’s future. Separately, leader of the PEP, Phillip Edward Alexander also resigned following
his party’s defeat at the polls.
