The outcome of yesterday’s meeting between Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar continues to be dissected as many attempt to understand whether or not this consultation will yield positive results.

It was revealed that going into the talks Persad-Bissessar had hope that topics regarding crime and the economy as well as jobs would have been up for discussion.

However, based on what has since been reported by both the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader, it does not appear that these topics were in fact discussed.

Member of Parliament for Caroni Central, Dr Bhoe Tewarie, speaking on the Power Breakfast Show here on Power 102.1fm this morning, gave his take on matters coming out of the meeting.
