An accident along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in the vicinity of the Beetham Landfill was the cause of a major traffic pile up for miles on the West bound lane, this morning.
The cause of the accident remains unknown at this time, however what is certain is that the accident involved two vehicles. News Power Now understands that a white Nissan Versa was wrapped around a pole on the median and a black Ford Ranger was lodged beneath the vehicle.
Police and ambulance responded to the incident.
Several motorists voiced their frustration across the airwaves, saying they were caught in traffic for hours as a result of the incident.
