Met office dispels rumours of tropical storm threat for T&T

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service would like to dispel any rumours circulating of any pending tropical cyclone to the south east of Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad and Tobago is NOT under any tropical storm threat, watch or warning.

If there is any adverse weather that is a threat to the islands, the public will be informed in a timely manner.
The Met Office would like to remind citizens that the country is not only in the hurricane season, but also in the rainy season and therefore persons can expect rainy season features such as the ITCZ and tropical waves.

This they advise are features that regularly affect our islands every rainy season.
