CARICOM nationalsMinister in the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Stuart Young yesterday said there was no knowledge that CARICOM nationals coming into Trinidad and Tobago were being unfairly treated at the country’s ports of entry.

Speaking at the post Cabinet Media Conference hosted at the Office of the Prime Minister, Minister Young reiterated that recent talks between this country’s Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley and Jamaica’s Prime Minister, Andrew Holness on the issue, were encouraging.

He made it clear that as far as he knew, no CARICOM national was being unfairly treated by local immigration officials.
