Ministry of Health will be sending out tenders for private companies interested in running the Couva Hospital soon

Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh reveals that the issue of the hospital is one that remains on the front burner of the Health Ministry.

He maintains that the hospital was opened by the previous Prime Minister on August 14 2015, so he was perplexed as to why he was still being asked to open it.

He explained tenders needed to be sent to private companies because the Government could not run the hospital itself.
