The majority of those who suffered damage to their property following strong winds and heavy rainfall on Friday in Chaguanas, have received some level of relief from the relevant agencies and ministries. This according to Chief Executive Officer of the Office Of Disaster preparedness and Management, Dr. Steven Ramroop.

Mr. Ramroop however assured that cleanup work continues in those areas affected.

He also confirmed a command centre was established by the Ministry of the People and Social Development at the Chaguanas Borough Corporation where damage assessment work is taking place.
