Mothers of murdered teens maintain children’s innocence

Lisa De Leon-AlexanderThe mothers of the two boys killed in Morvant on Monday have called on police officers to show them the guns that they claim their sons had, since the women maintained their children were innocent.

Lisa De Leon-Alexander mother of 15-year-old, Tevin Alexander, and, Suzette Alexander mother of Carifta medalist, 16 year old Hakeem Alexander,were present for yesterday’s autopsy at the Forensic Science Centre in St James.

Mrs. De Leon-Alexander said the teenagers did not deserve to die in that manner.

She said the painful part about the incident was that the boys had good futures ahead of them.

Mrs. De Leon-Alexander repeated statements of family members whose relatives recently lost their lives during police shooting, that they would not get justice.
