News Power Now has been told that the local government election campaign of the Movement for Social Justice Techier\Guapo candidate, Melissa Richards, has not been adversely affected in spite of recent reports of the candidate’s sub office, being vandalized.

M.S.J. General Secretary, Ozzie Warwick, in an interview  with News Power Now on Tuesday, explained that during the attack the building’s windows were broken, carpet and curtains burnt, and the building scorched.

An evaluation done by party officials estimate the damage to be around $10,000.

Mr. Warwick said there are reports that banners of all the political parties involved in the October 21st poll, have been tampered with. He also called on persons who engage in  unacceptable behavior during the election period to desist from the practice.
