Jamal Shabazz 2 Former member of the Jamaat al Muslimeen, Jamal Shabazz says the Muslimeen did work for all political parties in the 2007 general elections.

Shabazz made the revelation today as he appeared before the commission of inquiry into the 1990 attempted coup.

He said the Congress of the People, the Peoples National Movement and the United National Congress all made secret arrangements with the Muslimeen to work with them during the elections.

He says his Muslim brothers needed work and wanted to play a role in politics, but that did not involve them “running into the red house.
