The National Security Council is carded to meet this afternoon as concerns grow across the nation, about the heightened level of crime and violence plaguing the country.
Following the meeting on Monday, a news conference is expected to be held where further information would be made available.
This latest effort by the various security arms of Trinidad and Tobago, comes on the heels of the weekend assassination of Senior Council, Dana Seetahal.
Ms. Seetahal was brutally attacked while on her way to her One Woodbrook Place home. Her bullet riddled vehicle was found by police along Hamilton Holder Street in Woodbrook.
