The National Security Minister is instructed by Acting Prime Minister, Colm Imbert, to get involved in the ongoing probe surrounding the death of Carenage resident Brian Smith.
His family claims that Smith was beaten before his alleged drowning.
However, a senior Defence Force official reveals a different story from the residents into how Smith died.
Reports indicate that the first autopsy done by the state revealed Smith died by drowning.
Now there is word that a second independent autopsy revealed that Smith died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Questioned on the controversial issue by reporters this afternoon, the Acting Prime Minister explained that the topic is being addressed.
