The service of the National Entrepreneurship Development Company Limited Chief Executive Officer has been terminated.
Confirmation of this development came from Labour Minister, Errol McLeod.
Mr. McLeod said on Thursday cabinet received a report from the NEDCO Board relating to the establishment of the NEDCO Branch Office and another Office in Penal. He said the Board of Directors at NEDCO had reason to investigate the projects following concerns raised by Minister McLeod.
Minister McLeod said NEDCO’s internal audit consultant was asked to carry out a probe and give an update on critical matters relating to effectiveness and efficiency of the $1.2 million dollars project.
The Labour Minister also confirmed that the probe has now been completed.
