Cabinet is yet to decide on the future of the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses Programme or GATE.
Many students who are benefiting from GATE have expressed concerned with how the proposal changes will affect them.
The state has assured that GATE will not be stopped.
However, it maintains that there is need to review the venture to ensure the state gets value for money.
Minister in the Office of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Stuart Young, told reporters this afternoon noted that the GATE issue is being treated in a sensitize and responsible way.
