Negotiations have commenced between the Government and electronic media houses on the enforcement of clauses in their licenses to operate.
These negotiations preceded concerns raised by media houses over the use of key time slots from the promotion of Government ads and announcements.
Ahead of the enforcement of Clause D-30 and D31 which allows Government the ability to air ads for free; Government Information Services Limited CEO, Andy Johnson said the state is only seeking what is the law.
He added media houses cannot be forced when placing programs
Mr Johnson said contrary to a media this is not a done deal.
