School children across Trinidad and Tobago will stay at home on the day of Local government elections in Trinidad and Tobago. The date is Monday, December 2nd. This announcement has been made by the Ministry of Education in a media statement.
The Ministry advises that this move is meant to facilitate the election process as some schools are being used as voting centers.
