Tomorrow’s Labour Day celebrations will be one trade union less with the absence of the Public Services Association (PSA) .
President of the PSA Watson Duke described the situation as unfortunate, but said internal issues caused the development.
Mr. Duke said the PSA identifies with the issues of concern to the labour movement, particularly lack of progress on the workers agenda.
He stated Labour Day has taken what he termed a particular slant in recent times.
The PSA president added that his union is looking for a broader platform that embraces the whole labour movement.
