NEWS GRAPHIC 9Up to this time, there is no official word on the status of Trinidad and Tobago nationals who may have been affected by Hurricane Matthew’s wrath in Haiti.

The Hurricane’s passage has so far left over 400 people dead, with many more casualties likely, according to international humanitarian bodies.

The Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Ministry, headed by Minister Dennis Moses, is yet to relay information to the effect of the status of T&T nationals who may be in that country.

News Power Now’s ongoing efforts to speak with Minister Moses between yesterday and today, shortly before the 12 noon newscast, have so far proven futile.

Our News Team has however submitted an email of the question we require answered by the Minister, to the Communications Department, for subsequent response.

We certainly assure our listeners that as soon as that response is made available, we will relay the information to you.
