The development of the North Coast was high on the agenda this past weekend- this as government officials from the ministry of Planning and Sustainable development met at Maracas Bay to discuss ideas, and to strategize on the way forward for the popular recreational facility.
The north coast is one of five proposed growth polls across the country.
Planning and Sustainable development minister, Dr. Bhoe Tewarie, speaking during the consultation on Saturday, said the initiative was about high thinking and simple living.
Saying that he did not believe that Trinidad and Tobago nationals were pessimistic, the minister said the people of this country have to see a reason to hope.
