Political leader of the New National Vision Party, Fuad Abu Bakr has defended his actions outside of Parliament just over a week ago.
He said while groups within the United National Congress have criticized his beating an effigy of Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar, their condemnation is unwarranted.
Mr. Abu Bakr said he was very fair in beating 2 effigies and not just singling out the current government.
He added that the blame is not solely on the current regime.
He urged citizens to put aside political differences and work together for a better Trinidad and Tobago.
