Persad-Bissessar stated that the Hansard recording as well as the audiovisual will show that only after the debate on the matter was completed did the Opposition leave the Parliamentary chamber.

Member of Parliament for Oropouche East Roodal Moonilal reiterated that the Opposition fully in the debate.

He says that the Opposition will be present in the Parliament today as discussions on the Judge Alone Bill that seeks to remove the jury is carded to take place.

He says that the Bill is not to be taken lightly given the fundamental and almost  revolutionary change that the Government seeks to initiate.
