This is the question asked by one Opposition MP yesterday in the parliament. Christine Newallo – Hosein had echoed the sentiments of President of the Trinidad Unified Farmers Association, Sheraz Khan who, speaking with Power 102.1FM’s Tony Frasier earlier this week, said this country’s food import bill continues to escalate.

The Cumuto-Manzanilla MP said she does not understand the government’s logic in their disbursement of funds.
