Police are today continuing investigations into the matter of some $4 Million worth of cocaine found in a boatyard in Carenage on Wednesday.
Three suspects, believed to have some involvement in the illegal narcotic find, evaded capture by police when the bust was made. According to reports, Western Division Police along with Defence Force soldiers went to the boatyard, intent on making a search of the premises. While there, they spotted the three men, who fled the scene. The discovery was made thereafter.
10.4 Kilos of cocaine was found in a suitcase. The drug had been wrapped in 10 packets.
Police say the estimated value of the drugs is $4.1million TTD.
