Parents of children from San Juan Boys and Girls Government Primary School protested this morning in front of the school’s temporarily relocated Tunapuna compound.

Children from the school have been relocated to the Tunapuna compound while repairs are ongoing to the school’s San Juan location.

However, President of the school’s Parent teachers Association, Joel Scott says the Tunapuna compound has several issues including a malfunctioning sewage system and a lack of dependable transportation as promised by the Government during the relocation.

Speaking with News Power Now, Mr. Scott said the parents will continue protesting until they meet with the Education Minister and are given definite assurances as to when the renovation of the San Juan building will be completed.
