Parent of students attending the Princess Town No.1 Primary School staged a protest outside the facility yesterday calling for the Ministry of Education to intervene and address the situation.
Parents said the presence of rodents, frog, snakes and other animals are putting their children’s lives at risk.
An electrical problem at the school has also caused the parents to be concerned.
School Parent Teacher Association President Nola Ramjohn-Karim said the latest electricity overload was the last straw.
She listed a myriad of other issues at the school which including a drain which runs between to classes.
