While many are in support of the decriminalization of marijuana in Trinidad and Tobago, there are some who are against the decision.
One such voice has been that of Pastor Clive Dottin.
Pastor Dottin told the presenters on the Power Breakfast Show that his opposition to the decriminalization of marijuana stems from his wish to see a drug free society.
The Seventh Day Adventist Pastor explained that while he has no issue with the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes, the recreational use of the drug is what bothers him.
He added that the process must be carefully thought out as there is a risk that the decriminalization of the drug, while eliminating some problems, can create new ones for the society.
