The Police Complaints Authority is of the view they can handle enquires into the killings of three Moruga residents that took place two weeks ago.

P.C.A. Director, Gillian Lucky revealed this at a news briefing held at the Authority’s Abercromby Street, Port of Spain Offices this afternoon.

This week attorney for  the  victims, Keith Scotland, called on Police Commissioner, Dwayne Gibbs, to bring in officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigations or Scotland Yard to oversee the probe.

Keron Eccles, Abigail Johnson and Alana Duncan were shot dead by police on July 22.

Ms. Lucky said nothing is wrong with getting foreign help but they have confidence in local experts.

However, Ms. Lucky assured that timelines would be set for investigations but indicated details pertaining to the probe cannot be divulge at this time.
