The conversation continues on the issue of seeking permission to wine on someone during Carnival festivities.

While there is the view that the culture of the festival would be tampered with if there now needs to be permission sought before ‘taking a wine’, Public Information Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Ass Supt Michael Jackman says that the law is very clear on this issue.

He also revealed that a person can decide to stop while dancing and that decision has to be respected.
