Persons wishing to see the endangered leather back turtles lay their eggs at Grand Riviere and Matura are being asked to comply with the rules.
The call comes from non-governmental group, Grand Riviere Nature Tour Guides Association.
Environmental conservation is the main focus of the association.
President of the group, Len Peters, in an interview this afternoon explained during the turtle nesting season persons are required to obtain a permit from the Forestry Division to visit both beaches.
Mr Peters also noted the importance of citizens adhering to the guidelines and instructions given by the trained tour personnel at the beaches.
