Chairman of the Clico Policy Holders Group, Peter Permell, was today questioned on why there has been reluctance on the part of members of his organization to testify at the ongoing Commission of Inquiry into the collapse of the financial company and the Hindu Credit Union.
Mr. Permell said some members are hesitant to testify at the commission for various reasons.
However, he added one of the factors is the view that the commission cannot hold anyone criminally liable.
He added there are also concerns about the release of critical financial data.
Mr Permell did urged policy holders of CLICO to come forward and give evidence which would help the proceedings.
