A quantity of marijuana and cocaine have been seized by police. The illegal narcotics have been valued at an estimated $39,694.25

Police made the bust during an exercise carried out in the Arouca, Cumuto, La Horquetta, St. Joseph, Maloney and Pinto areas between Tuesday and Wednesday.

During that exercise, one smith and Wesson revolver, one Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol and one Ruger pistol together with four magazines and 32 assorted rounds of ammunition were found and seized.

Ten people were arrested. Seventy-four fixed penalty notices for various traffic offences were issued and 28 stop and search forms were filled out.
