Illegal drugs and a possible debt- that’s what police suspect led to the murder of 38 year old fisherman and PH driver, Sunil Mathura- who was found slumped behind the wheel of his vehicle on Wednesday evening around 5 o’clock. Autopsy results have revealed that Mathura died from shock and hemorrhaging consistent with the gunshot wounds he received to the neck and face.

Mathura was reportedly shot five times. His body was found in his B13 Sentra at Connector Road, Maculay Road, Claxton Bay.

Mathura, police say, had several gun related matters in the Central area and was well known to police.

No arrests have been made in the matter. Police however continue investigations.
