Meanwhile, Chairman of the Inter Island Transport Committee Diana Hadad says this latest development signals the complete collapse of the sea bridge.
She says that Tobago stakeholders knew that the T&T Express was limping, that it needed to dry dock and that it required an extension of insurance that expired last night.
Hadad was in high praises of Caribbean Airlines who she said stepped up to the plate in light of the circumstances.
She said that the Port Authority was suffering for management and that the entire board needed to be fired.
The Cabo Star, she disclosed, was also being asked to do what it could not for the sea bridge.
