Port Authority board requests patience from Truckers and Traders Association until seabridge issue is resolved

The Board of the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has asked the Truckers’ and Traders’ Association to remain patient for a while longer, this following a meeting on Friday at which both parties discussed issues affecting the inter-island cargo service since the departure of the MV Superfast Galicia last month.

News Power Now spoke with Samuel Applewhite, Secretary of the Association as well as the Association President Horace Amede who were both was present at last week’s meeting.

Mr. Applewhite indicated that the Truckers’ and Traders’ Association intends to adhere to the request of the PATT board and remains hopeful that a solution can be arrived at in the near future.
