The Port of Spain City Corporation will receive the biggest allocation under the transfers allocated in the budget for local government.
The sum amounts to $257 million.
While this is consistent with past years, the Corporation’s budget drops by $10 million over what was spent in 2014.
It is part of an overall $184 million decrease for local Government in this year’s allocations over the revised figures of 2014.
The Tunapuna/ Piarco Regional Corporation gets the second biggest budget of $201 million.
However it also sees the largest decrease of funds amounting to $6 million.
