Recommendations are made by the Committee set up by the Port of Spain City Council to address vending.
However, Port of Spain Mayor, Raymond Tim Kee, in a News Power Now interview said the committee is scheduled to meet again to review the proposals.
His update comes on the heels of action by police officers on some vendors in the Capital City on Saturday.
News Power Now was informed that the vending stalls of some persons selling food were seized by the police.
However, Mayor Tim Kee said the City Council’s Health Department has continue to maintain its position on dealing with food operators who do not comply with required standards.
