Officers attached to the Southern Western Division during an exercise seized and destroyed 1500 fully grown marijuana trees and 6900 seedlings with a street value of $1,550,000.00.
Between the hours of 4-6pm on Tuesday afternoon Sgt. Ramsingh along with a party of officers attached to the Investigations department and Operations Unit conducted the search on Haggard Trace, Penal Rock Road, Penal and observed several marijuana trees.
The officers then later destroyed the fully grown trees and seedlings.
No one was arrested.
Investigations are continuing.
