President of the Law Association, Reginald Amor speaking on the special general meeting called for a no confidence motion against himself and the Vice President, Gerry Brooks said he would not speculate  on why members would want to file such a motion.

Speaking on the Power Breakfast show on Power 102.1fm this morning, Amor said the requisition filed by members, caught him a bit off guard, but based on the information he received, the motion was done because they failed to meet with the Attorney General, Faris Al-Rawi based claims that some 1,300 prisoners may be in line to be released from prison when the Bail (Amendment) Bill elapsed.
