President of the National Primary Schools Principals Association says that based on TTUTA laws teachers are not responsible for students during school breaks

Image result for principals trinidadThe Education Act says that the Principals are responsible for the safety of students during the break and lunch periods as well as before and after school.

This is the comment coming from the President of the National primary Schools Principals Association, Cogland Griffith who spoke with News Power Now this morning.

He made the comment in response to the incident where students of Siparia West Secondary school were recorded via cellphone bullying their fellow classmates.

Mr. Griffith told our Newsroom that for some time Principals have been calling for help in this regard.
