Manager of the National Drug Council, Ester Best says that there is growing concern over the prevalence of marijuana in the school system.
She said people have attempted to ensure a wider distribution of the drug. She further revealed that there has been a rise in the drug in various forms, which are included in brownies and candy.
Speaking on CNC3 on Tuesday morning, Ms. Best said the availability of marijuana in schools is a real concern since young ones have reported negative reactions after using.
She said that since the brain is still developing in children, there are long term effects that could seriously hamper those who use the drug.
