Seventy-one year old Prince Charles has tested positive for COVID-19. He is next in line to the English thrown.
“The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Coronavirus. He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual,” said a Clarence House spokesman.
Charles and his wife Camilla, duchess of Cornwall, are both in quarantine, though Camilla has tested negative, the spokesman added.
In the UK, 335 people have died from the COVID-19 pandemic. There have been 6,650 positive cases overall.
